From Erjos, on the edge of the Teno mountains, we go up into the mountains, looking down to Santiago de Teide with its vineyards to La Gomera. On the summits above the village of Masca we look down into the gorge of the same name and the adjacent mountain formations. The Atlantic always shimmers in the background. After our picnic on spectacular views, we continue our hike and go through partly foggy dense forest down to the Charcos de Erjos.
In the afternoon we take our bus down to Los Gigantes where a catamaran is waiting for us. We drive out into the ocean and watch dolphins and different kinds of whales. Finally, we anchor near the steep rocks with their millions of breeding grounds of the local birdlife and jump from board into the ocean for a swim.
Meals, rucksacks, hiking boots, flashlights, telescopic poles, etc. are provided free of charge if required.
